These collaborations allow us to explore new frontiers in process automation, such as automating electrical panel wiring, which combine academic research with practical application.
Research focusses on developing technologies that combine advanced software with robotic systems to automate electrical panel wiring as a whole. Our specific software is designed to optimize the wiring sequence, starting from the initial electrical panel design and interfacing directly with the company's IT infrastructure. At the same time, the robotic device, equipped with specialized tools, physically positions the cables based on instructions from the software, which significantly improves the precision and efficiency of the production process.
